Conjunto Alegre is a Puerto Rican band led by LeRoy Rodrigues. Formed in 1979, the group is dedicated to playing and promoting the Salsa/Jibara style of latin music. Conjunto Alegre’s diverse members come from Hawaii, Puerto Rico, San Francisco, and New Jersey. Their debut CD “Cuando Me Toque Partir” was well received by radio stations and DJs from around the globe, introducing the world to their contageous “Salsa Con Cuatro” tipico sound.
